We aim to be a warm, friendly church community which welcomes and involves everyone, no matter who we are or what our backgrounds.

We are  members of the "Inclusive Church" network.

We have a strong and growing offer for children and young people in our area.

We offer pastoral care for young and old, whilst we've sought to support those with disabilities and differing abilities - and their carers - over many years. Our building is adaptable and accessible.

We have recently registered for same sex marriages and our first service was joyfully held in summer 2023.

Over many years we have benefited from both male and female ordained clergy and lay leadership, whilst our Leadership team and Church Council membership seeks to represent as many differing perspectives as possible.

We are drawing on the resources and training on diversity and inclusion offered by the Methodist Church centrally, and are adapting them for our local context.

We know we have more to do and more to learn, but we are committed to prayerful reflection, discussion and action together, to continue our journey.
